A & E Seasonings Gourmet Spice Blend Showcased at the State Fair of Texas
HEALTHY ALTERNATIVE TO TYPICAL FAIR FOOD

As more Texans embrace a healthy lifestyle and eating habits, A & E Seasonings Gourmet Spice Blend provides a healthy alternative to the traditional fair foods. Based in Irving, Texas, A & E Seasonings Gourmet Spice Blend will be showcased at the 2007 State Fair of Texas in the Food and Fiber Pavilion. The Spice Blend contains paprika, garlic, parsley and other island spices. The blend is added to uncooked meats (chicken, fish, pork or beef) and baked, grilled or pan fried. No other preparation or additional ingredients are needed. The spice blend can also be used on vegetables and is only 5 calories per serving and 0% fat.

The Gourmet Spice blend can be sampled at the Food and Fiber Pavilion on Sunday, September 30; Saturday, October 6; Saturday, October 13; and Saturday, October 20. The State Fair of Texas is a Texas tradition that runs from September 28 –October 21, 2007.

Emerson Downes of A & E Seasonings is a self-taught master of traditional island cuisine. Originally from Barbados, Emerson has taken his love of delicious foods and with the encouragement of his wife, Angela, A & E was born. The spice blend was originally handed down from an old family recipe. The company was born out of a desire to provide a spice blend designed to make healthy cooking simple. With A & E Seasonings, the unskilled cook will seem like a gourmet chef!
